Ever wondered how you'd fare cruising up Rod Millen's driveway? Or perhaps you've been missing the fantastic yearly events held at his ranch every Waitangi weekend?

Now's your chance to come join us as we tackle NZ's most famous driveway-turned-racetrack with the Pikes-Peak legend himself!

The ECC Leadfoot event will entail a full day at the Leadfoot Ranch in the Coromandel, running up the famous hillclimb.

Cars will be split in to two groups, with cars running up one at a time, collecting at the top and cruising back down to allow the next group to go up in the same fashion.

Open spaces and seating will be around for those not driving to sit back, relax and watch the cars for the day, along with some of Rod’s private collection out and open for people to peruse!

A catered lunch will be available on the day for an additional fee. Details on this will be released in the following weeks!

Time: 10:30 am
Location: Bp Tauriko
1 Taurikura Drive, Tauranga

Meet at BP Tauriko at 10:10 AM, and we’ll be departing at 10:30 AM.

Stop A: Our first stop is at the beginning of French Pass Road (11:26-11:40 AM), giving the photographers a chance to get ahead.

Stop B: We’ll pass through this point at 11:46 AM, where someone will capture photos as we drive by.

Stop C: We’ll arrive at Camarosa at 12:00 PM for lunch.

After lunch, we’ll head back to Tauranga via Tauwhare and Richmond Downs.

Stop D: We’ll briefly stop at Kiwitahi School to allow the photographers to move ahead.

Stop E: Another opportunity for photos as we pass through.

Stop F: We’ll make a quick stop at the Z Petrol Station in Matamata before returning to Tauranga.

Cars and Coffee is a monthly car meet at Placemakers on a Sunday morning to explore beautiful machines from a variety of car enthusiasts and Clubs in Queenstown and the wider region.
This family friendly car-meet is a FREE event, and the Smokorun foodtruck will have food and drinks available for purchase.

This is an opportunity for the owners of all Classic vehicles, including Classics, Customs, Vintage, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Exotics and older JDM's, and Motorcycles too.

Meet at 8am for an 8:15 sharp departure to Piha!
This will be a meet/ cruise. From there we will cruise to Piha North, where we will all park up at Seaview road carpark (grassy parking spot) near the Piha Bowling Club.

There will be photographers at certain points of the run so keep an eye out for them if you want some fun shots!
Morgan will be leading the run so please keep an eye out for his mini!

Meet at Woolworths Bethlehem at 8am then we leave at 8:20am sharp.

Our first stop is on Waitawheta Rd:

Turn right just before the oneway bridge onto karangahake gorge walkway ( this allows the photographers to get ahead )

Our second stop is at Ironique Cafe in Te Aroha for around 1 hour ( 9:55am )

Then back to the 2024 winter photography meet ( Tauranga racecourse) via old Te Aroha rd ( arriving at 12pm )
